Your AI Visibility Score: measure how findable you are for AI assistants
More and more guests ask ChatGPT or Google for a restaurant tip. But do you know whether your business shows up in those answers? With Sitebite’s AI Visibility Score, you measure that in one overview, with no technical knowledge needed.
What is the AI Visibility Score?
The AI Visibility Score is a number that shows how well AI assistants and search engines can understand and recommend your restaurant. Sitebite analyses your live website and gives you an overall score out of 100 points, made up of five dimensions of 20 points each, plus concrete improvement points.
It’s not a vanity metric. Every dimension links directly to something you can adjust in your dashboard.
The 5 dimensions explained
- Structured data and entity clarity: does your site have schema markup for restaurant, menu, cuisine, price level and location? AI reads structured data, not loose text.
- Menu intelligence: is your menu available as HTML, so not as a PDF or image? Are dishes, ingredients, diet labels and specialities machine-readable?
- Intent coverage: does your site answer the questions guests ask? Think of romantic dining, private dining, business lunch or the best cuisine nearby.
- Reviews and FAQ: do you show reviews and social proof, and do you answer common questions with an FAQ? Both help AI judge whether your business fits a search.
- Technology and AI visibility: sitemap, llms.txt, load speed, internal links and access for AI bots form the foundation everything else rests on.
How to check your score
- Log in to your Sitebite dashboard.
- In your site overview, go to AI Score and open the AI Visibility Score page.
- Click Run Analysis (or Re-analyze for a new measurement). Sitebite scans your live site.
- View per dimension what’s going well and what can improve.
You can also view your score in the Sitebite mobile app, handy when you’re on the go.
5 quick wins to improve your score
- Put your menu online as HTML. Upload a photo and let AI convert it (see digitising your menu).
- Fill in your business details, cuisine and NAP details under Globals.
- Add an FAQ section with common questions.
- Show at least a few reviews on your homepage.
- Check that your llms.txt is reachable. Sitebite generates it automatically.
Why this differs from ordinary SEO
Traditional SEO looks at rankings in Google. AI Visibility looks at whether assistants can cite your business when someone asks: “Where can I get good food in [city]?” That calls for structured data, a machine-readable menu and clear context. Exactly what Sitebite is built for.
