Connect FRANK to your restaurant website
Connect FRANK to Sitebite and let guests book or buy a gift voucher directly via the FRANK widget on your site, with no need to replace your booking system.
Already using FRANK for your bookings? You don’t have to change anything. With Sitebite, you place the FRANK widget directly on your own restaurant website, so guests book a table or buy a gift voucher in one click, with no need to leave your site.
What is FRANK?
FRANK is booking software for hospitality: bookings, guest management, waitlists, and online payments all in one place. Via Mollie, you handle deposits, prepaid tickets, and gift vouchers, which reduces no-shows and generates extra revenue. So it’s one system for your floor and for your online bookings.
Why connect FRANK to your Sitebite site?
- Live widget on your own site. The FRANK booking screen loads automatically on every page of your site.
- Booking button in your menu. Guests click “Book” in your navigation and the widget opens instantly.
- “Book a table” in your hero. A clearly visible button at the top of your homepage once FRANK is active.
- Everything in one place. Manage your site and the connection from your Sitebite dashboard, with no fiddling with code.
- Smart pasting. Paste your Restaurant ID or the full widget code; Sitebite automatically extracts the right ID.
- You decide the behaviour. Choose whether the widget opens automatically on desktop and/or mobile.
The widget’s colour, language, and toolbar are set directly in FRANK. Sitebite handles the connection and makes sure everything shows up cleanly on your site.
How to connect FRANK in Sitebite
- First set up your widget in FRANK, via Manage → Restaurant (colour) and Manage → Widget (behaviour, language, toolbar).
- Copy your widget code in FRANK: Manage → Widget → Copy Code.
- Log in to Sitebite, choose your site, and go to Integrations → FRANK.
- Paste your Restaurant ID or the full embed code into the field.
- Choose whether the widget opens automatically on desktop and mobile.
- Click Save. The FRANK widget appears directly on your live site.
Tip: your Restaurant ID is in the widget code after data-restaurant-id. If you paste the whole code, Sitebite extracts this ID automatically.
Practical uses for restaurants
- A guest finds you via Google and books right away on your own site, with no extra clicks elsewhere.
- Fewer no-shows because FRANK can request a deposit or guarantee via Mollie when booking.
- Sell gift vouchers via the same widget, for extra revenue alongside your table bookings.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate FRANK account?
Yes. Sitebite connects your existing FRANK account; you need an active FRANK subscription with a configured widget. Sitebite displays FRANK on your site rather than replacing it.
Where do I find my Restaurant ID?
In FRANK under Manage → Widget → Copy Code. Look for data-restaurant-id in the code, or simply paste the whole snippet into Sitebite.
Can I adjust the widget’s colour and language?
Yes, but that’s done in FRANK: colour via Manage → Restaurant, language and toolbar via Manage → Widget. In Sitebite, you configure the connection and opening behaviour.
Does the widget open automatically when someone visits my site?
You decide with the “Open on desktop” and “Open on mobile” options. By default, the widget stays closed until the guest clicks your booking button.
Does it work with my existing booking system?
Sitebite shows one booking provider in your navigation. Want to know more about your options? See Connecting online bookings to your website.
