Building & Managing Your Site

Creating your organisation at Sitebite

Entrepreneurs discutant de leur organisation lors de la création d'un nouveau site

Before you build a site, you start with Sitebite at your organisation. That’s the place where all your sites, team members and settings come together. One organisation can later easily hold several restaurants or venues, so even if you’re starting with just one business now, this is a logical starting point.

What an organisation actually is

Think of your organisation as the folder where everything about your business lives: the site or sites you build, the team members who have access to them, and settings you can later override per site. Do you run several businesses under one name? Then you manage them from the same organisation instead of separate, disconnected accounts.

How to create your organisation

  1. Go to the Sitebite sign-up page and create an account with your email address.
  2. Give your organisation a name, usually the name of your restaurant or hospitality group.
  3. Choose your language and country; this determines a number of default settings further along.
  4. Confirm your email address and you’re ready to create your first site.

Inviting team members

Not working on your site alone? Under your organisation settings, you invite colleagues or your agency. That way, everyone working on the site can log in without you having to share passwords.

Several businesses under one organisation

Do you have several restaurants, or are you part of a hospitality group? Then you don’t need to start a new account for every location. You can read how to set that up in managing multiple websites as a hospitality group.

Ready for the next step? Once your organisation is set up, you create your first restaurant website.
